Ungodliness – living ones life with little or no thought of God or God’s will. 1 Corinthians 10:31
Anxiety - Distrusting God and not accepting His providence in my life. Matthew 6:25-34
Frustration – being upset or even angry at whatever or whoever is blocking our plans. Psalm 139.16
Discontent – being dissatisfied with the circumstances God has placed me in. 1 Corinthians 10.10; Philippians 2.14
Unthankfulness – taking for granted all the blessings God has given or failing to express our gratitude. 1 Thess. 5.18
Pride – Feelings of moral superiority (self-righteousness), boasting about achievements 1 Cor 4.7; resistant to authority, unteachable spirit 1 Corinthians 8.1b
Selfishness – putting my desires and needs above other’s. Philippians 2.3-4
Lack of Self-Control – the governance or prudent control of one’s desires cravings, impulses, emotions, and passions. Proverbs 25.8
Impatience - a strong sense of annoyance at the faults and failures of others. Col. 3.12-13
Irritability – tendency to humiliate the person who is the object of our impatience
Anger - resentment, bitterness, animosity, grudges, strife. James 1.20
Judgmentalism – a critical spirit that raises points of preference or conviction to an elevated position and is condemning toward those who are wrong or disagree. Rom. 14.4
Envy – the painful and often resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by someone else. Rom 12.5
Grumbling - to murmur or mutter in discontent; complain sullenly or critically 1 Cor. 10.10
Gossip – Idle talk or rumor, esp. about the personal or private affairs of others Ja 3.5 whisperers, backbiters Rom 1.29-31 Proverbs 16.28; 18. 7-8; 20.19
Filthy language – crude or suggestive language. Eph 4.29
Worldliness – focusing on the things of this world 1 John2:15-16; Col 3.2
lascivious – dressing or thinking in a way that promotes the passion of lust.
Idolatry – placing such a high value on something or someone that it tends to absorb too much of our emotional and mental energy Eph 4.29
Divisiveness – Creating dissension or discord or being exclusive of brothers in Christ. 1 Cor 1.10
