20.3 cut him off from his people... This phrase seems to refer to both Israelites and "strangers." I'm wondering in what since the strangers would be cut off from their people. Or maybe this part just refers to the Israelites.
20.3 to defile my sanctuary... interesting, in light of the fact it did not happen in the sanctuary.
