Baby Dedication Questions

1.               Do you present your child before God in solemn dedication?

“We do.”

2.               Do you consecrate yourselves as parents to bring up your child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord?

“We do.”

3.               Do you promise to instruct your child by example and by words in the teaching of Jesus Christ and to guide your child in the development of a Christlike character?

“We do.”

4.               Do you promise to try to the best of your ability so to shape the home life of your child so that they will God’s time come to an open confession of Christ and into the fellowship and service of the church?

“We do.”

5.               And will you, the people of Tulsa Bible Church, be faithful to your calling as members of Christ’s body, so that these children may grow up in the knowledge and love of Christ?  Respond by saying, “We will.”

“We will.”

Since you have promised before God and His church to dedicate your children to God and have given yourselves to the task of raising your children for God, we now exhort you to set yourselves to this task by the grace of God.
