Wed 090909 pm Psa 104-105

Psalm 104 Anon.; 35 vrs.; 104.4--Hebrews 1.7
Praising the Creator.

104.27 These all look to him... It is ironic that the animals all look to him, but we, who are made in His image, find it so hard to keep the same focus.
104.34 May my meditation be pleasing to Him... If I am rejoicing in the Lord, my meditation would be pleasing to Him.

Psalm 105 Anon.; 45 vrs.; 105.8--Luke 1.72-73
Recounting God's work with Abraham, the exodus, and conquest.

105.15 my anointed ones... Refers here to Israel, but enforces the respect we should have for Gods' messengers and people.
105.19 the Word of the Lord tested him. "Him' is Jacob. What is referred to by "word of the Lord" is a uncertain, but shows God's had in his trials.
