131.1-8 One of my favorites in Jeremiah, the object lesson of the rotten sash. I am not sure why the ESV translates it a loincloth.
13.11 but they would not listen... So they became useless like a rotten belt.
Jeremiah 14
14.14 the deceit of their own minds... A caution against prophets (or pastors) relying on their own ideas instead of God's Word.
